It's a sad day!
It is with a heavy heart that we inform our friends/supporters that we lost our Gracie last night. Ch. Snowshoe's High Society, BIS, BISS, SDHF, OD was our very first Best in Show winner! Gracie was 13 years, 4 months old.... what some would say is a good, long life for a golden, but, no matter their age, it seems that it's never long enough. Gracie lived a full life and brought such joy to so many, until just recently, after a kidney failure diagnosis.
She now gets to romp and play with her Momma Panda, first 'husband' Montana, and 1/2 brother Bogey! Kiss em all Gracie!!

Sydney's babies!
Monday, February 14, 2011
Amazing!
What's amazing is that a golden in today's age can last until age 16 years, 4 months old! What's sad is that we lost DAZZLE this past week. Dazzle was from our very first Snowshoe litter, out of Panda x James, born October 14, 1994. Dazzle lived a full life in Colorado, walking/hiking the mountains and lived with Marv/Sue Boyd. For anyone who remembers the Central Regional Specialty in Lk. Elmo in 1996.... Dazzle was in the back of the pickup with litter brothers Bogey and Casey, and parents Panda and James. A day none of us will ever forget! Enjoy life on the 'other side of the bridge' Dazzle!! Kiss Momma Panda for me....
New babies are here!
Sydney x Callahan babies arrived early Sunday AM. She had TEN, 6 males and 4 females. It was an interesting time, as we had just arrived home from a 9 day vacation at 9 PM, and I delivered the first puppy at 1:26 AM, just 4 hours after arriving home! All is well, babies are fine, and of course, Sydney's being a fabulous Mom. Pictures will be up within a few days!
