She's pregnant!

The ultrasound last Friday revealed at least seven (7) PICABO puppies.    They'll be taken via c section on Friday, January 4, 2018., at 9 AM.   More after that.....

Picabo was bred twice last week with 'Mr. WAVE'.... a stunning Presley grandson, and a Montana great grandson!
Ultrasound to follow in another 3-4 weeks, but, puppies are expected January 5.

It's happening!

Picabo came into season yesterday!  If all goes according to the 'mother nature' schedule of dog breeding, she should have puppies during the week of January 8, and they would go to their new homes the week of March 5.  Given a few days each way, that should be the schedule!  Looking forward to lots of puppy visits in late January!!

They're Here!

Seven puppies, 6 boys, 1 girl, arrived on May 24, 2017.  Coincidentally, her great granddam SMOOCH, celebrated her 13th birthday on the same day, and is a Presley daughter as well.

Great News!

Picabo's ultrasound on Friday showed 'lots' of little swimmers!  We're pretty sure that we saw 'TEN' of them....  good news for lots of families waiting for this event!!  We will be doing a c section on her on Friday, May 26.  She's already getting 'chubby' and even more snuggly than usual, which are great signs....   more news later!   The theme of this litter is 'MUSIC LEGENDS' so get your thinking caps on for names.

I totally realize how long it's been since I've updated our blog.  As you can no doubt tell by now, I don't blog when I don't have anything meaningful to share.  Now that 'we're back in business' again with breedings, I'll try and be more chatty.   Thanks to all of you for your patience and for following us and our breeding program.  Wishing Picabo lots of babies!!

It's finally here!

Picabo was bred to Presley on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.  Ultrasound will be done in about 4 weeks to determine with certainly that it took, and will give us the count.  All went well with the surgical implant.  Puppies are due May 27, 2017.  Let's hope for a VERY BIG litter, as I know there's many of you out there waiting to hear!!
