The news is in!  Jersey is pregnant.  We saw five of them on the ultrasound, and are hoping for a few more that were 'hidden.'  Puppies will be born via c section on February 9, 2015. 

On a not as happy of note, we lost HONESTY last month, at the ripe age of 12 1/2.  For those not remembering her, it's because she was our 'one point wonder', but more importantly SMOOCH's dam!   Honesty lived with the Modrynski family most of her life.  They're excited now to get a puppy out of the Lindsey x Kahuna litter!

The Lindsey x Kahuna puppies have arrived!  There are two girls and two boys.... yes, just four of them!  Lots of disappointed people to be certain....  Jersey is being bred to Presley tomorrow, and those puppies should be due about Valentine's Day!

Lindsey's pregnant!

Yes, it's true.... it happened.  The ultrasound was last Tuesday, and we saw six puppies for sure, but, assuming a few more!  They will be born via c section at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. More news after the birth!
This is the GOLD litter, as it's our '50th litter' of puppies.  We're hoping to keep a girl, and her name will be Snowshoe's Olympic Gold Medalist, and her name will be PICABO.  How appropriate since Lindsey is Snowshoe's Down the Slopes (Lindsey Vaughn), and Picabo Street was an Olympic Gold Medalist Down Hill Skier as well.

RIP Presley

We have lost the best of the best!  Presley went to the Rainbow Bridge last week, just shy of 13 years young.    With over 10 titles behind his name, he is the most decorated dog Snowshoe has bred!!   Our many thanks to Jack Stevens for making him the multi-titled dog that he is!  Thankfully, we continue to have stored semen, so his legacy will live on.

Sad News!

It is with heavy hearts this morning, that we inform everyone about our loss of GLORY last night.  Glory was 11 1/2 years old, blind for the last year or so, but, still skipping across the yard until just a few weeks ago. 


Glory was our only CGC, and a Certified Therapy dog with the Delta Society (now known as Pet Partners).  Glory and I visited nursing homes, but, unfortunately, not enough of them!  She will be remembered by many for her sweet disposition and always hanging in the background waiting for all the other dogs to get their pets, before she appeared for hers.


CH Snowshoe's Stars and Stripes 'GLORY' will be missed by many!
